In 1992, Imre Makovecz’s world-famous Hungarian Pavilion was built at the Seville Expo, which almost immediately became a national symbol. The music of the pavilion was composed by Ferenc Kiss, that became one of the emblematic works of the Hungarian world music scene. A performance called Seven Towers was born for this music and the composer’s other successful pieces of music. The dance theater performance of the Danube Art Ensemble entitled Seven Towers undertakes to articulate the way of thinking and the complexity of the works of the Master, who passed away 11 years ago this year, in the language of dance.
